Report: UCLA Quarterback Brett Hundley Returning For Senior Year

Surprised?

UCLA junior quarterback Brett Hundley, who many believe is worthy of a top-ten pick in this year's NFL draft, will be returning to school for his senior season, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The news comes as a surprise, given the fact that Hundley finished the 2013 season on a high note, accounting for almost 400 yards of offensive and four touchdowns in the Bruins' Sun Bowl victory over Virginia Tech.

Many will immediately note the similarities between Hundley and Oregon quarterback Marcus Mariota - both are projected top-ten NFL picks from Pac-12 schools who have chosen to return for one more year of college. Hundley's decision likely makes it a two-man race between Louisville's Teddy Bridgewater and Texas A&M's Johnny Manziel (assuming he leaves) for the top overall quarterback taken.
