Assuming you aren't a Texas Longhorns fan, you should greatly appreciate what you're about to see in the below clip. Saturday night, UCLA's starting quarterback Brett Hundley, who many believe is one of the best in the country, injured his left elbow in the first quarter of their game against UT. The Bruins' backup, Jerry Neuheisel, came in and did a serviceable job, completing 23-of-30 passes for 178 yards and two scores.
Neuheisel's father, Rick, starred at quarterback for UCLA in the early 1980s and is currently an analyst over at the Pac-12 network. His reaction to his son's fourth quarter game-winning drive was awesome:
It's not yet known how long Hundley will be out, so we may be seeing more of Neuheisel in the near future. Hopefully the Pac-12 Network keeps us updated on his father's sanity.
