The race for the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the 2017 class is down to five schools.
Tate Martell, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound five-star prospect out of Las Vegas, released his top five schools on Twitter this afternoon.
They are: Alabama, Michigan, Texas A&M, USC and Washington.
Martell is ranked the No. 1 player at his position and the No. 11 player in his class by 247 Sports' Composite Rankings. Texas A&M and USC are seen as the favorites to land him.
