The USC Trojans are the recipients of some good news Friday night. Four-star outside linebacker Raymond Scott, who is actually a 2018 player, has committed to the program. Scott announced the news on Twitter, thanking all of the other schools that had recruited him.
According to 247 Sports, Scott had other offers from Boston College, Oregon State and Syracuse. Keep in mind, he's just a high school sophomore.
Scott, at 6-foot-2, 220 pounds, hails from Harbor City, California. He is rated as a four-star composite player, though 247 Sports has yet to assign him a rating.
Scott is USC's third commitment for the 2018 class.
