Cal vs. USC prediction:

California's offense ranks sixth in the nation in yards per game with 545. USC's offense isn't necessarily bad either as it averages 440 yards per contest.

With that, the edge may go to the better defense and that falls into USC's favor. Cal is allowing 448 yards per game which is the eighth most in FBS. The Trojans rank 45th nationally allowing 371 yards per contest.

Cal may find itself in a few more third down conversions against the Trojans and the team's third down conversion rate of 43.7% which sits 38th in the nation.
