Caleb Tremblay, a four-star defensive tackle from American River Community College, announced Friday that he will be a USC Trojan.

Caleb Tremblay is the N0. 13 junior college recruit in the country, and the No. 5 defensive tackle.

He was a popular recruit among other Pac-12 programs, including Colorado, Oregon, and Washington, and also held offers from Alabama, Georgia, and others.

Ultimately, he settled on USC.

USC confirmed the new signee shortly thereafter.

Washington was reportedly the main competition for Tremblay down the stretch.

He is one of nine USC recruits to sign National Letters of Intent during the early signing period this week, and one of 13 players committed to the Trojans overall. The class is ranked No. 13 in the nation, and No. 2 in the Pac-12 right now.

It is a small class, but is loaded with talent, with a pair of five-star recruits and 10 four-star players set to join the Trojans.
