The Arizona Cardinals have officially hired Kliff Kingsbury as their new head coach. Thus ends Kingsbury’s brief tenure as the offensive coordinator at USC, which lasted about one month.
As it turns out, Kingsbury might not be the only assistant coach leaving the Trojans. According to Rivals.com’s Adam Maya, USC’s new running backs coach Mike Jinks is heading to Arizona with Kingsbury.
Jinks was Kingsbury’s running backs coach at Texas Tech from 2013-15.
In 2015, he also held the position of associate head coach.
Jinks then went on to spend two-plus seasons as the head coach of Bowling Green. He struggled there, compiling a 7-24 overall record.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Kingsbury has signed a four-year contract with the Cardinals with a team-option for a fifth year.
It hasn’t been announced what role Jinks will serve on his staff, though running backs coach seems most likely.
