Lane Kiffin may no longer be the head coach at USC, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to stop rooting for the players he coached for years. Kiffin went on ESPN radio today with Colin Cowherd and predicted that the Trojans will pull a major upset this Saturday and defeat No. 4 Stanford. He thinks that USC quarterback Cody Kessler has been outplaying his counterpart, Cardinal quarterback Kevin Hogan.

If Kiffin is right about the Trojans running the table and finishing 10-3, they’d have an outside shot at playing for a Pac-12 title at the end of the year. It’d be quite a turnaround – one that started the day after Kiffin was let go.
