Despite an extremely disappointing season for the USC Trojans, the program has decided to keep Clay Helton for the following year.

With the news of USC retaining Helton now public, former Trojans head coach Lane Kiffin decided he'll chime in on this development. Although it shouldn't be a surprise considering his tendency for being vocal, the social media world is still buzzing over his recent activity.

In his latest viral tweet, Kiffin gave a subtle message with this post:

There's no way of confirming if this was just another way of Kiffin to troll his former school. However, the comments on this tweet certainly indicate that he's stirring controversy for the Trojans.

As for Kiffin's own program, the Florida Atlantic Owls went 5-7 this season and are also ineligible to make a bowl game.

It'll be interesting to see if there's another post coming later from Kiffin, as he is clearly monitoring the situation at Southern California.
