No. 1 PG In America Plans On Cutting His List Soon, Here's Who's In Contention

The No. 1 point guard in America has been taking his recruitment slowly, but it's about to ramp up.

Trevon Duval, a five-star prospect out of New Castle, Del. is the top player at his position and the No. 5 player in the class, per 247Sports' Composite Rankings. His game has drawn comparisons to Derrick Rose and Kyrie Irving, among others.

Duval was at the Steph Curry SC30 Camp in northern California this week and Rivals.com caught up with him, asking him about his recruitment.

The schools in prime contention to land the 6-foot-3, 175-pound prospect are: Arizona, Maryland, Oklahoma, Syracuse, USC, UCLA and Villanova.

Duval says he plans on cutting his list soon.

"Probably in August. Probably early August, mid-August I'll release a list out to everyone."
