Agholor, who played collegiately at USC, was a first-round selection by the Eagles in the 2015 NFL Draft. The 23-year-old wideout and at least two of his teammates visited Cheerleaders Gentlemen’s Club after the team's final day of spring practice on Thursday.

Ross said detectives are trying to track down video footage from the club. Ross said the Police Department has been in contact with Eagles officials. Agholor is expected to be interviewed by investigators some time soon. He has not been charged with any crime.

“We are aware of the police investigation involving Nelson Agholor,” said Derek Boyko, a spokesman for the Eagles. “The organization has been in contact with Nelson and with the proper authorities in Philadelphia. Because of the legal nature of this matter, we will have no further comment.”

Agholor’s agent did not immediately respond to a request for comment.John Meehan, the owner of Cheerleaders, said he wasn’t at the club on Thursday. Neither he nor the club’s attorney, Marc Raspanti, said they were aware of the allegations.

Agholor was the 20th overall selection in the 2015 NFL Draft. He totaled 283 yards and one touchdown in 13 games last season.

The 6-foot, 198-pound wideout is a native of Nigeria but moved to the United States when he was five.

Agholor left USC after his junior season. He caught 179 passes for 2,571 yards and 20 touchdowns in three years with the Trojans.
