While the end of the Ed Orgeron era at USC wasn’t as ceremonious as many would have hoped for, the former interim coach of the Trojans still apparently has a number of fans in Los Angeles. Check out what The Spirit of Troy, the school’s marching band, sent Orgeron as a token of appreciation this week. Every band member signed it:

Orgeron led the Trojans to a 6-2 record after former head coach Lane Kiffin’s firing, but the two losses were to the school’s two biggest rivals – Notre Dame and UCLA. Pat Haden’s decision to hire Steve Sarkisian over Orgeron for the permanent role was met with much criticism. We can probably guess which side of the fence the band members sit on.
