On Friday night, the USC Trojans hosted No. 10 Utah in a pivotal match-up between Pac-12 rivals.

Just a few days before the game kicked off, FOX announced the broadcast team. The network announced Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush would make their return to the Coliseum.

Bush's relationship became complicated after it was ruled he accepted impermissible benefits during his time with the program. However, his return to USC on Friday night fired up the players - perhaps a little too much.

After a touchdown run from Markese Stepp, USC players celebrated with Bush in the endzone.

The result was a 15-yard penalty, but it was worth it.

The Trojans entered the contest with a 2-1 record, but had serious questions facing the program in the face. Rumors of Clay Helton's job being in jeopardy pummeled the team as Urban Meyer's name grew stronger connections to the program.

Things took a turn for the worse early in the first quarter against the Utes - albeit very briefly. Starting quarterback Kedon Slovis - who took over after J.T. Daniels suffered a season-ending injury - took a nasty shot and was forced to leave the game.

Redshirt junior Matt Fink took over and led the team to an impressive 30-23 win over the Utes.
