Report: Ed Orgeron Will Serve As Interim Head Coach For USC

Filling in for Lane.

With the news breaking this morning that Lane Kiffin was fired as head coach of the USC Trojans, fans have been left wondering who would take over the coaching duties in the meantime. We just got our answer via ESPN's Joe Schad:

Orgeron will take over as interim head coach after being an assistant head coach under Kiffin -- remember, he tried to dub USC 'Linebacker U' this past summer. Orgeron was the head coach at Ole Miss from 2005-2007, when he accumulated a 10-25 record in Oxford.
