Reports: Washington Coach Steve Sarkisian To Take USC Job


According to both Colin Cowherd of ESPN and Ruth Robbins of, Washington coach Steve Sarkisian will be leaving the Huskies to become the next head coach at USC. The news comes after Sarkisian denied interviewing for the position earlier Monday. The school has made no official announcement.

Sarkisian served as quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator for USC during much of the Pete Carroll era. He took over as head coach at Washington in 2008 and has led the program to four winning seasons in five years. Sarkisian beat out Jack Del Rio, James Franklin and Ed Orgeron, among others, for the position. We'll keep you updated as to when USC will make it official.
