Scout's 2017 Recruiting Rankings Include 6 New 5-Stars

College football recruits around the country have been taking part in a number of camps in hopes to impress recruiting analysts and earn a boost in their rankings. With a number of those performances standing out above the rest, Scout has officially updated its 2017 recruiting rankings including six new five-star recruits - three of which have already committed.

Florida State outside linebacker commit Vandarius Cowan, out of Palm Beach Gardens (FL), has been upgraded to a five-star after showing out at Miami's regional The Opening event. USC running back commit Stephen Carr, out of Fontana (CA), has also been upgraded to five stars, as has Texas defensive end commit Lagaryonn Carson, out of Texarkana (TX). CB Stanford Samuels, DT Marvin Wilson and OLB Baron Browning - all uncommitted - round out the new five-star recruits.
