With No. 18 USC's loss to the UCLA Bruins today, it's no stretch to assume the Trojans won't be ranked in either poll come tomorrow.
USC's loss means the Trojans will not be competing in the PAC-12 Championship game. USC's final regular season game now becomes next week's tilt against Notre Dame, currently ranked No. 3 in the nation.
As if all this wasn't enough, it's now looking very possible that USC may become the first team since Ole Miss in 1964 to start the season ranked No. 1 in the AP Poll and finish the season out of the rankings completely. Check out the attached chart to see how long it's been since poll voters were that wrong about a No. 1 ranked team.
