Photos: USC Has Wrapped Statues Around Campus In Duct Tape To Protect From UCLA Student Vandalism

USC and UCLA play next weekend, and students from each school are already doing what they can to protect the various landmarks around their campuses.

The two student bodies have attempted to spray paint, and otherwise deface, notable statues and sculptures on the others' campus for decades now during the lead-up to the Bruins and Trojans facing off on the gridiron. A few years ago Trojan students tagged UCLA's Bruin bear statue with "SC runs LA" in red paint.

USC fans are not about to let Tommy Trojan or one of the other beloved sculptures on their campus get covered in blue and gold, however. They've already wrapped the entirety of some of the most notable landmarks on campus in duct tape.

Before the Trojans get the Bruins on November 19 in Pasadena, they have a huge trip up to Pac-12 leader Washington, where they will attempt to hand the Huskies their first loss.
