USC sophomore wide receiver Devon Williams has reportedly entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to SEC Network’s Cole Cubelic.
A four-star, top-50 recruit in the class of 2018, Williams has one reception for 11 yards in the Trojans’ first two games. He appeared in all 12 games as a freshman last fall, seeing time on offense and special teams.
Williams caught four passes for 87 yards and a touchdown and added a touchdown on a blocked punt return in 2018.

Now that Williams is in the portal, he can have contact with other programs. Out of high school, he also considered Oregon and UCLA, among others.
While the Williams loss is a blow, USC is still off to a good start this fall. With wins over Fresno State and Stanford, the Trojans are 2-0 and in the top 25.
They will travel to BYU on Saturday. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
