Report: Utah To Wear Stickers On Helmets To Honor Gaius Vaenuku
A good gesture.
Last week, the college football world received devastating news out of New Mexico. A fatal car accident killed three people -- one of whom was Utah's Gaius Vaenuku.
Vaenuku was a 4-star defensive tackle who signed with Utah back in January. He never got the chance to play a down of football as a Utah Ute but he will be honored every time the team takes the field this season. Head football coach Kyle Whittingham announced today that the Utah football players will wear a sticker on their helmets in his honor.
This is definitely a nice way to honor Vaenuku after the tragedy. We'll keep you updated when a photo of the sticker is released.
