During his initial recruitment, Quade Green formed a close bond with former Syracuse assistant coach Mike Hopkins, now the head coach at Washington. It isn't a huge surprise that Green is considering the Huskies now that he has elected to leave Kentucky.

Green, a former five-star guard recruit, reportedly took a trip to Seattle this week.

From CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein:

It is the second school that Green has seen since news came down that he would transfer. Last week he was at Villanova, posting video from the Wildcats' facilities while the program was in Kansas for its game with the Jayhawks.

Some consider Washington basketball the favorite to land Quade Green.

Among them: Kentucky Sports Radio's Matt Jones, who tweeted this shortly after the transfer news broke:

Green was at the center of transfer rumors back in the spring, after his freshman season in Lexington wrapped up. He was reportedly considering a move to La Salle, whose new coach Ashley Howard recruited him while an assistant at Villanova.

It is unclear what other schools Green will consider here.
