Even though the Florida Gators are finally forming an identity this season, Dan Mullen's team almost experienced a near disaster yesterday.

The Gators had a successful trip to Mississippi State, defeating the Bulldogs on the road. However, the drive back home to Gainesville could've have been a nightmare.

According to the Gators equipment Twitter account, the equipment truck got a flat tire that resulted in a small fire. Fortunately, everyone involved in the incident was safe.

As of right now, the Gators should be fine heading into their next matchup against LSU. Photos of the equipment truck were found on social media, and it's clear that Florida avoided a dangerous accident.

Hopefully the Gators can have all their equipment ready for next weekend.

While the drive back to Florida wasn't exactly ideal, entering Sunday at 4-1 should keep their spirits high. When it comes to the status of the truck, it might not be in the best shape for another road trip.
