Jalen Hurts is reportedly set to transfer out of Alabama’s football program, as the junior quarterback has entered his name into the NCAA’s transfer portal.
The quarterback hasn’t officially left Alabama – yet, anyway – but he’s now able to be contacted by other college football programs.
A bunch of big schools have been named options for Hurts and we now have betting odds on where he’ll end up.
According to BetDSI, here are the five frontrunners for Hurts’ team in 2019:
- Houston Cougars +150
- Arizona Wildcats +300
- Maryland Terrapins +400
- UCLA, TCU +500

Hurts is a Texas native, so it makes sense that schools like TCU and Houston would be favorites to land him.
Maryland, meanwhile, will be led by his former offensive coordinator in Mike Locksley, who’s accepted the Terrapins’ head coaching position.
It’s unclear what kind of timeline Hurts will be operating on when making his transfer decision.
Hurts, a graduate transfer, will be eligible to play right away in 2019.
