A.J. McCarron Addresses Critics Following Radio Interview: "I Wasn't Bashing Anybody At All", Says Saban Is "Like A Dad"

A.J. McCarron is receiving a lot of criticism after discussing the "sacrifices" he made to play at Alabama, which includes playing at less than full health. Some fans are accusing him of making excuses after being picked in the fifth round of this weekend's NFL Draft, and have taken his statements as a slight against his Alabama teammates and coaches. On Sunday night, he went on a bit of a Twitter rant to combat those ideas.

McCarron always seemed fairly savvy when it came to his public perception during his college career, so it's strange to see him deal with issues like this over the last few days.
