A USC Offensive Lineman Trolled Lane Kiffin With This Visors Comment

The pregame talk for Alabama-USC has begun.

The No. 1 Crimson Tide and the No. 17 Trojans are set to meet at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas Saturday night. On an opening weekend loaded with awesome games, this is the marquee matchup of the weekend. It'll be televised in primetime on ABC.

The game has plenty of storylines, but the Lane Kiffin vs. USC one is perhaps the most fun.

There are 19 current Trojans who played for Kiffin at USC.

Senior offensive lineman Zach Banner said this about Kiffin to the Los Angeles Times:

Offensive lineman Zach Banner said he hadn’t thought much about Kiffin coaching at Alabama. He said he wished Kiffin well.

But, when asked if he took anything positive from Kiffin’s time at USC, his reply was curt.

"He had good visors,” Banner said, then walked away, ending the interview.

Well, then.

Meanwhile, there are five USC coaches who were on Kiffin's staff. There doesn't appear to be any bad feelings there.

(Special teams coach John) Baxter is one of five USC coaches to serve on Kiffin’s staff. None expressed any animosity. Kiffin, most said, treated them well.

“I don’t know how he’s become the villain of all of college football,” Baxter said.

Saturday night will be fun.

Alabama and USC are set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T. on ABC.
