Spring football is just around the corner. On Thursday, the Alabama Crimson Tide released all of the details for its upcoming inter-squad scrimmage in April.
Nick Saban’s 2019 team failed to make the College Football Playoff for the first time since its inception. It was a sub-par season for the Tide, as Tua Tagovailoa went down with a brutal season-ending injury late in the year. Alabama’s late-season loss to Auburn officially eliminated the Tide from the playoff.
With Tagovailoa off to the NFL Draft, the Crimson Tide are set to conduct a competitive quarterback battle. Mac Jones is the current leader in the club-house, but 5-star QB signee Bryce Young has all the tools necessary to win the job.
The Tide’s upcoming Spring Game will give us a small glimpse into the said quarterback battle. The inter-squad scrimmage is set to take place on Apr. 18 at 2 p.m. ET at Bryant-Denny Stadium, according to Matt Zenitz of AL.com.
Alabama’s spring game will be played April 18 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
Will be limited capacity due to the ongoing construction at Bryant-Denny. They’ll only be able to seat 30,000-35,000 people.
