Alabama has been working on spicing up its future non-conference schedules. The Crimson Tide announced a new series today against a perennial bowl team from a non-Power 5 league.
Alabama has agreed to a 2-for-1 series with USF, slated for 2023-2024 and 2026. In exchange for a trip to Tampa in 2023, Alabama will host the Bulls the following season and in 2026.
These games show a serious willingness from USF to test itself among the big boys, while ‘Bama adds a quality program to its future schedules.

The Crimson Tide have been criticized for playing too many non-conference cupcakes, but they are looking to change that narrative. In the next decade, they will play several top programs in home-and-home arrangements.
Texas is on the docket in 2022 and 2023, followed by West Virginia in 2026 and 2027 and Notre Dame in 2028 and 2029. Finally, a home-and-home with Oklahoma is set for 2032 and 2033.
Granted, it is long time before we get to these matchups, but they are fun to dream on for the time being.
Here’s a look at Alabama’s future schedules.
