Just four weeks remain before the 2015 college football season kicks off, and training camp is officially underway for many colleges across the country. While many fans are beginning to dust of their alma mater’s jersey and peruse the local drugstore for war paint, Kickoff Weekend will be jam-packed with excitement and big ticket prices on the secondary market. Three of the most expensive games of Week 1 will be played on Saturday, with the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff in Atlanta, Advocare Texas Kickoff and College GameDay’s coverage of Alabama vs Wisconsin taking center stage next month. Excitement doesn’t end just there, either – each of those games will be held in NFL venues.

With the Crimson Tide again poised to be one of the best teams in the country, it comes as no surprise that College GameDay has decided to head to AT&T Stadium for the team’s battle with the Badgers on September 5. That game will easily be the most expensive matchup of Kickoff Weekend on the secondary market, too, with Alabama vs Wisconsin tickets averaging $313.05, according to TiqIQ. The cheapest available ticket is currently listed for $110.31. Alabama went 12-2 in 2014 and will look to improve on that record under the direction of its renowned defense led by D.J. Pettway, Darren Lake and Ryan Anderson.

The Chick-Fil-A Kickoff at the Georgia Dome will be the second most expensive game during Week 1 of the 2015 CFB season. Played on Saturday between Louisville and Auburn, the annual game will feature the Tigers for just the second time and the Cardinals in their first Chick-Fil-A game. The average secondary market price for Louisville vs Auburn tickets is $273.17 and the get-in price starts at $78. Auburn had a rather forgettable 2014 season, going just 8-5 and 4-4 in SEC matchups. Louisville was 9-4 and 5-3 in ACC games.

Texas A&M has yet to begin training camp, but confidence remains high for the Aggies to recuperate after losing transferring quarterback Kenny Hill to TCU. They will play Arizona State in the 2015 AdvoCare Texas Kickoff on September 5, and the average price for Texas A&M vs Arizona State tickets is $221.47. The cheapest ticket to the Week 1 game is now $78. The team will now look to sophomore Kyle Allen under center, who fared reasonably well against the formidable defense of both LSU and Missouri last season. Arizona State went 10-3 and 6-3 in Pac-12 games in 2014 and Mike Bercovici, who posted 12 touchdowns on 1,445 passing yards last season, takes over at quarterback after Taylor Kelly’s departure.

If planning on traveling to one of the games from out of town, plenty of hotel options can be found for fairly reasonable prices in all three areas. According to Hipmunk, 3-star hotels in Arlington start as low as $103 per night while 2-star hotels are going as little as $42 per night. In Houston, 4-star hotels start at $84 and 3-star hotels begin at $76 per night. Atlanta will be the most expensive city to stay in, with 4-star hotels on Hipmunk starting at $299 each night and 3-star hotels priced at $132 per night.

The 2015 CFB season officially begins with four top games on Thursday, September 3. Alcorn State will face Georgia Tech, Michigan takes on Utah, TCU plays Minnesota and UTSA battles Arizona that day. TCU is the highest-ranked team among the first eight teams to play Thursday, owning the No. 3 seed behind No. 2 Oregon and No. 1 Ohio State.
