Alabama's Most-Likely Bowl Game Heading Into The Final Weekend

The Alabama Crimson Tide, the reigning national champion, is just one victory away from returning to the College Football Playoff. A win over Florida should lock up the 1-seed for Alabama.

Alabama finished the season with a 12-0 mark and an 8-0 record in the SEC West. The Crimson Tide, who finished three games clear of Auburn and LSU, finished the year as one of just two undefeated teams in the FBS. Alabama posted wins over USC, Western Kentucky, Ole Miss, Kent State, Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, LSU, Mississippi State, Chattanooga and Auburn.

Alabama, with a win over Florida, would finish 13-0 as the SEC champion. Since they'd likely be the 1-seed in the playoff, they'd likely be headed to the Peach Bowl.CBS Sports' Jerry Palm is projecting that Alabama will play Washington in the contest. The Peach Bowl will be played in Atlanta, Georgia on December 31.

Alabama could find itself in the Playoff with a loss, too - but the Crimson Tide can remove all doubt with a win. It could also take on Clemson, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Penn State or Oklahoma. Regardless, Alabama will be favored.
