Alabama DC Jeremy Pruitt Named His Son After Ryan Anderson And Reuben Foster

Alabama defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt named his newborn son after two former Tide stars.

Apparently, Jeremy Pruitt enjoyed coaching Ryan Anderson and Reuben Foster so much, he named his son after them.

This afternoon on Twitter, the Alabama defensive coordinator announced the birth of his boy, Flynt Anderson-Foster Pruitt.

Yes, the middle name is a combination of Anderson and Foster. Anderson himself acknowledged the honor on Instagram.

Anderson, a second-round pick of the Washington Redskins, compiled 61 tackles (19 for loss), nine sacks, four forced fumbles and an INT return for a touchdown last season.

Foster, the Butkus Award winner and first-round choice of the San Francisco 49ers, led the Tide with 115 tackles and also added five sacks.

Congratulations to Coach Pruitt and family.
