Alabama Kicker Cade Foster Is Getting Threatened And Harassed On Twitter After Missing 3 Field Goals

Not cool.

This may come as no surprise, but Alabama placekicker Cade Foster has been hearing it from Tide fans since missing three field goal attempts in the loss against Auburn earlier Saturday afternoon. Foster missed a 44-yard attempt in the first quarter, a 33-yard attempt early in the fourth quarter, and had another 44-yard attempt blocked later in the final period. Alabama then switched it up and went with its redshirt freshman kicker, Adam Griffith, on the ridiculous 57-yard try that Auburn returned for the game-winning touchdown.

Foster's Twitter mentions are just downright ugly. We've seen this before with Notre Dame's Tommy Rees and Missouri's Andrew Baggett, but we may have reached a new low here.

As always, it's a shame to see. These players are just student-athletes, after all. Hopefully cooler heads prevail in the coming days.
