Alabama football has one of the best 2020 recruiting classes in the country, and the Crimson Tide got on the board in 2021 last night.
Austin (Tex.) LBJ four-star cornerback Latrell McCutchin announced his commitment to Alabama on Monday. McCutchin camped in Tuscaloosa over the weekend before making his decision.
He chose Alabama over Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and others.
“It was all a DREAM…My grind made it reality. 100% committed,” McCutchin wrote on Twitter.

The 6-foot-1, 176-pound McCutchin is the No. 7 cornerback and the 121st-overall recruit in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports’ proprietary rankings.
He is also the 21st-rated rising junior in Texas.
As a sophomore, McCutchin earned District 12-5A-I Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors. He began his high school career at Manor High School in 2017.
