Cedar Hill (Tex.) Trinity Christian School quarterback Shedeur Sanders may have a famous father, but the class of 2021 prospect is certainly making a name for himself.
Sanders already has over a dozen scholarship offers. Last night, the son of legendary NFL cornerback Deion Sanders added a new one from Alabama.
The Crimson Tide join Florida State, Florida, Georgia and others in offering the younger Sanders. Prior to extending the offer, Nick Saban watched the young signal caller work out at Alabama’s camp this week.
“I dreamt of this years ago,” Shedeur Sanders tweeted. “I have worked hard everyday to reach this goal. After competing in the camp today and doing what I do, I was offered by Coach Nick Saban the opportunity to play football at THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA.”

In just two seasons of high school football, Sanders has put up prodigious passing stats. Last season, he threw for 2,977 yards and 42 touchdowns.
As a true freshman in 2017, Sanders passed for 2,360 yards and 34 scores.
When the first rankings come out for the class of 2021, expect him to be rather high on the list.
