Alabama running back Derrick Henry is a freak of nature. He's 6-foot-3, 241 pounds, is strong as an ox, and reportedly runs a 40-yard dash in 4.37 seconds. He showed off how good he is when he ran wild on West Virginia during week one of the college football season, as he racked up 113 yards on 17 carries and a touchdown.
However, even the best athletes can still use motivation, and Henry took to his Twitter today to tell people about a recent criticism that motivated him to work harder off the field, so that when he steps on the field, he'll run all over defenses.
We'll see if this motivates Henry to shred Florida Atlantic this weekend, as the Crimson Tide host the Owls on Sept. 6 at noon on the SEC Network.
