Police arrested an Alabama student after he allegedly called in a threat during the LSU-Florida game Saturday night.
According to a report from TMZ, a 19-year-old Alabama student called in a bomb threat to Tiger Stadium during one of the biggest games of the SEC season. Police arrested the student and booked him as a “fugitive from justice.”
So why did he call in the threat? According to TMZ, he allegedly phoned in the threat because “his friend was on the verge of losing a large bet.”
Police held the student without bail. He’s expected to be hit with criminal charges including making a false bomb threat on school property.
LSU officials revealed they carried out a search of the stadium before arresting the student.

As for the action on the field, LSU outlasted Florida in one of the best games of the year.
The Tigers defense eventually took over and led the team to a 42-28 win over the Gators.
