Alabama's Geno Smith Apologizes To School And Fans On Twitter After Second DUI

Saturday morning, Alabama senior safety Geno Smith was arrested and charged with DUI by Tuscaloosa police. It's actually Smith's second offense, as he was also arrested and charged with the same crime back in 2013. As Roll Bama Roll notes, Smith was suspended for one game (Virginia Tech) that season.

Saturday night, Smith took to Twitter to apologize to the school and its fans for the transgression. He also vowed to learn from his mistakes and misjudgments.

Smith's apology certainly seems sincere, though considering this is his second offense, it's unclear whether he'll be allowed to remain as a member on the team. We'll keep you updated on that front.
