It kills me to say this as a Notre Dame student, but Alabama's football team is on a new level athletically. One of the reasons why? Scott Cochran, the team's strength and conditioning coach, puts his team through excruciating workouts day-in and day-out, but it's all for the greater good.
The university recently decided to splurge and construct an all-new, two-story, 37,000 square foot workout facility (complete with new motivational signs), and Cochran is thrilled.
"This is the biggest, baddest weight room in the country -- no question about it. Everything is state-of-the-art. Everything we have in here is the best of the best." ~ Scott Cochran
Cochran decided to show off the facility a bit by giving a video tour for all fans to see. Here it is below, and admittedly, it's quite impressive.
