It’s always fun to speculate how an elite college football team would fare against a terrible NFL team. Given how dominant undefeated Alabama have been and how terrible the 2-7 Buffalo Bills are on offense, one oddsmaker decided to put a betting line on a hypothetical Alabama-Buffalo Bills game.
On Thursday afternoon, OddsShark revealed that they had calculated a spread for an Alabama-Buffalo Bills game.
The betting site stated that the Bills would be 28.5-point favorites over the No. 1 college football team in the country.
It’s widely believed that even the worst NFL offenses would likely score a touchdown on every play vs. a college opponent.

Bills QB Nathan Peterman is statistically among the worst QBs in NFL history. However, his O-line might not be challenged at all by Alabama’s defense. And his receivers would likely be wide open on every play.
Defensively, Alabama’s rushing and passing attack would be unable to move against a team consisting of athletes in their prime.
Still, it’s fun to think about when a college team is at its best and an NFL team is at its worst…
