On Wednesday afternoon, Alabama quarterback Jalen Hurts placed his name into the transfer portal as he looks to finish his collegiate football career with a different program. After Tua Tagovailoa secured the starting job for the Tide, it was just a matter of time before Hurts moved on.
With Hurts officially on the transfer market, several college football programs should be interested in adding a top quarterback to their roster. According to a report from Jamie Plunkett of SB Nation’s TCU beat, the Horned Frogs will reach out to Hurts and may have already reached out.
Here’s the news from Plunkett.
Just in: TCU will indeed be reaching out to Jalen Hurts. They may have already done so.

Former TCU quarterback Shawn Robinson transferred to Missouri before the end of the 2018 season so the Horned Frogs will be interested in bringing in a new quarterback.
Hurts likely wants to transfer to a school where he can compete for the starting job right away and the Horned Frogs offer that opportunity.
