Alabama head coach Nick Saban was in rare form after the Crimson Tide's win on Saturday evening.

Saban's team advanced to the College Football Playoff national title game with its win over Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

Alabama dominated Oklahoma for most of the contest, going on to win, 45-34, to advance to the national championship contest.

Saban was a very happy man following his team's victory.

Video showed Saban on the post-game stage, hurling oranges to his players on the field.

That's not a Nick Saban you see very often. The oranges also weren't the only thing Saban threw on Saturday night. Earlier in the game, he threw his headset in anger. Saban said afterwards that throwing oranges was a lot more fun.

Alabama is set to play Clemson in the national title game next Monday night.

Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. E.T. The game will be on ESPN.
