Back in March, four-star recruit Demouy Kennedy announced that his decommitment from Auburn. Fast forward to June, where the talented linebacker made the big switch to the Tigers' hated rival Alabama.

According to 247Sports, Kennedy is the No. 3 linebacker in his class. The Crimson Tide should find an abundance of ways to use his six-foot-three frame on defense.

While the decision to decommit from Auburn wasn't easy for Kennedy, the Alabama native sounds pretty happy about joining the reigning SEC champions.

During Kennedy's visit to Alabama, Nick Saban unleashed an epic recruiting pitch to seal the deal.

They were standing next to two tables, he said. One was clear of anything. The other had championship rings on it.

"I liked when he said, ‘Would you rather gamble on this table (pointing to the ring table) or the other table?' I said, ‘I’m gambling on the ring table."

Comparing Alabama's success to other programs is quite the power move from Saban.

Saban has turned Alabama into the biggest powerhouse in college football. It'd be hard for Kennedy to ignore the school's success, even though he did originally commit to Auburn.

With Kennedy on board for the Crimson Tide's 2020 recruiting class, Saban is inching closer to Dabo Swinney and Clemson's top class.
