Alabama and Georgia are set to play for the SEC title on Saturday, and obviously, there is a great deal on the line. The winner will surely make the College Football Playoff.

One ESPN analyst - Peter Burns - thinks that we aren't just seeing the two best teams in the country on Saturday. He thinks that Alabama and Georgia are the two best teams in the country. He says he has "no doubt" that it's the case.

That wouldn't be a huge surprise, considering they met for the national title last year. But the Bulldogs are going to have a tough time getting back to the playoff if they lose on Saturday.

Burns sees flaws in other title contenders, like Clemson, Notre Dame and Oklahoma.

So could the two teams meet again in the playoff? Sure, but it would require some luck. Georgia would need to win the game, and Alabama would need to stay in the top four anyway. It's possible, but not likely.

Burns' statement will likely hit Clemson fans the hardest. Many believe that the Tigers are the biggest threat to Alabama's supremacy heading into December.

Alabama and Georgia are set to tangle at 4:00 PM ET on CBS.
