On Tuesday night, the first College Football Playoff rankings of the 2019 season were released. Ohio State landed at No. 1 after an impressive start to the season.
After that, though, the SEC claimed the next two spots. LSU and Alabama came in at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, but that will change after this weekend.
The Tigers and the Crimson Tide are set for one of the biggest games of the college football season. On Saturday afternoon, LSU and Alabama will battle it out for SEC East supremacy.
Before the game kicks off, ESPN analyst Bill Connelly made his score prediction for the game.
He likes the Crimson Tide to win by a touchdown.
ESPN’s final score prediction for the Alabama-LSU game has the Crimson Tide winning, 34-27.

The winner of Saturday’s game will take a stranglehold on the SEC East and be in prime position for a spot in the conference title game.
LSU has already built an impressive resume, so a loss to Alabama won’t necessarily eliminate the Tigers from playoff contention. The Crimson Tide, meanwhile, likely need a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Alabama and LSU are set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kick off. The game will be broadcast on CBS.
