ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit has taken to Twitter to react to the two College Football Playoff games from Saturday night.

We had No. 1 Alabama defeating No. 4 Oklahoma in a game that got a little closer than expected in the second half.

Earlier, No. 2 Clemson had its way with No. 3 Notre Dame, blowing out the Fighting Irish over the course of four quarters.

Now, we'll get Alabama and Clemson in the national title game - again.

Here's what Herbstreit said about last night's results:

"Congrats to both @AlabamaFTBL and @ClemsonFB on advancing to the National Title. Most of us expected this to be the most likely match up back in August and now we get it. On my way now to Pasadena for the @rosebowlgame first! Pumped and honored to call both games!" he tweeted.

Alabama and Clemson are set to meet in the national title game next Monday night.

The game is set to kick off at 8 p.m. E.T.

It will be televised on ESPN.
