ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit Says Nick Saban's Next Move Will Be To The College GameDay Set

With a win tonight in the College Football Playoff national title game, the Nick Saban-to-the-NFL rumors are sure to heat up. They're already there, but a victory against Clemson would give the 64-year-old coach five national titles. Many will start to wonder if there's anything left for him to accomplish at the college level.

This morning, ESPN college football analyst Kirk Herbstreit joined The Dan Patrick Show to discuss Saban and tonight's game.

Herbstreit doesn't think Saban will be leaving Tuscaloosa, Ala. for another job. He says his next stop will be to the College GameDay desk as an analyst.

We'd certainly be OK with Saban eventually replacing Lee Corso on the GameDay set.

Alabama and Clemson are set to kick off at 8:30 p.m. E.T. on ESPN.
