Former Alabama CB John Fulton Says Team Was "Disgusted" With 11-2 Finish Last Season

In the world of college football, it's clear that not all 11-2 seasons are treated the same. For example, Clemson has been celebrating a successful 2013 campaign, which ended with a big-time victory over Ohio State in the Orange Bowl. Alabama, on the other hand, ripped off 11 straight victories before falling to Auburn in an epic Iron Bowl and then Oklahoma in the Sugar Bowl.

Former Alabama defensive back John Fulton summed up how he and his teammates felt after falling to the Sooners this past January, He took to Instagram to tell fans that Alabama was "disgusted" with the 11-2 finish. He also mentioned, randomly, that he does not like the new College Football Playoff trophy.

Fulton has run out of eligibility, but it's safe to assume that many of his former teammates feel the same way. It's pretty clear that head coach Nick Saban has communicated to his team that he expects perfection - anything less is not acceptable.
