Alabama is turning into a safe haven for maligned former Pac-12 coaches. This past January, the Crimson Tide brought on former USC head coach Lane Kiffin to become offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Wednesday, it appears that former Washington defensive line coach Tosh Lupoi is headed to Tuscaloosa as well. Lupoi, who was reportedly involved in a recruiting scandal with the Huskies but was never penalized by the NCAA, almost took a job with Steve Sarkisian at USC before the incident.
It's unclear the exact role that Lupoi will be assuming, but it's rumored to be the director of player personnel. Lupoi broke the news via his Twitter account with a telltale graphic.

Lupoi was one of the top recruiters on the west coast, so it'll be interesting to see what he brings to the table for Alabama.
