After Alabama lost to Ole Miss in mid-September for the second year in a row, there were many in the industry who declared the Crimson Tide's "dynasty" over. Fox Sports' Aaron Torres was one of them. Monday morning, two days after Alabama dominated LSU in Tuscaloosa, Torres is admitting he was wrong. And he's penned Saban a letter to apologize.
Here's an excerpt - you can read his whole post here.
As it turns out coach, you were right: The Alabama dynasty isn't dead and buried and gone, but very much alive.
And with that, I'd like to truly apologize for every mean thing I may have written or said.
Boy was I wrong. But I do hope I'm right about one thing: That I'll see you in Glendale later this winter.
Alabama certainly does look like one of the best teams in the country right now. It's cool to see at least one writer admit he was wrong.
