Here's How Kirk Herbstreit Would Rank Alabama's Quarterbacks Heading Into The Summer

The biggest question Alabama football fans likely have right now is this: who's our starting quarterback?

That question wasn't answered today at the Crimson Tide's spring game, but the competition's four contenders did all see significant playing time.

ESPN college football expert Kirk Herbstreit was in Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the A-Day game. Here's how he'd rank Alabama's QBs, at the moment.

Here's how Herbstreit ranked the QBs, for those unfamiliar with the jersey numbers.

  1. Cooper Bateman.
  2. Blake Barnett.
  3. Jalen Hurts.
  4. David Cornwell.

Hurts had the best numbers during the spring game, completing 11 of 15 passes for 120 yards and a TD. Herbstreit's favorite, Bateman, completed 9 of 24 passes for one touchdown and an interception, though he faced the stiffest defense.

Barnett finished 9 of 16 for 112 yards and Cornwell completed 5 of 13 for 50 yards.

Who do you want starting, Alabama fans?
