Former Alabama defensive tackle Dalvin Tomlinson has agreed to terms on his rookie contract.

Dalvin Tomlinson has agreed to terms on his rookie contract with the New York Giants, according to SportsTrust Advisors, who count Tomlinson as a client.

The Giants selected Tomlinson in the second round of April's NFL Draft.

According to Giants beat writer Dan Duggan, Tomlinson's rookie deal is worth over $4.5 million with a $1.4 million signing bonus.

The Giants are counting on the mature and productive Tomlinson to be a plug-and-play option at defensive tackle.

Big Blue lost starter Johnathan Hankins to free agency and needs a replacement to line up alongside All-Pro Damon Harrison.
